When we collectively define what ‘bold’ looks like—tough, self-assured, fearless—without recognizing the sacrifice, empathy, and wisdom it takes to become it, we’re only telling ourselves half the story.
As part of Timberland’s national campaign that challenges what it means to be bold, the good people at HYPEBEAST asked me to profile three unique New Yorkers from all walks of life—a pizza boss, a bee whisperer, and a high-grain woodcarver—and turn their headstrongness into headlines for the whole city to see.
